Fair but his last couple of appearances off the bench have come up top, and with Auba moving up there pretty much full time now too it seems like the natural direction for him to take.

I've mentioned this before but his favorite performance of mine, albeit in the EL against very ELgy opposition, came up top too. Hopefully we can see him get a couple of games there over the next few weeks.

I've said before I see him as an undersized 9, in the aguero/Suarez mould. I think he could be great there, he's shown great movement, box instincts and finishing so far. he's even shown he has aerial ability. I see him more as an off the ball weapon with decent on the ball skills, rather than a dribbly wing wizard. playing centrally in England is quite a tough proposition though, if we go down this route we have to make sure the right pieces are around him

This is exactly who Gabi is. His speed, movement and finishing will make him unstoppable. I’m really excited about this kid. In due time. Let him return with new skills and good health

I think people underestimate how much Ødegaard will cost if we want him and he wants us. We also need a top CM and a right back. We don't need to add a striker to the shopping list as well.

Whilst I agree, I also think he is essentially zero risk based upon his contribution already, and even more so when compared to the risks associated with a signing like Pepe. IMO if RM are willing to sell then we should make EVERY effort to sign him, including selling / swapping PEA/Laca/Pepe if KSE aren't prepared to provide funds.

I would rather spend big on Odegaard than lots of other players. The kid’s quality is arousing. There’s a moment a king high ball looped down to him and he killed it with one touch. No bobbles. Sees the action 2 seconds before other players. Makes those runs into the box. I’m in love with this guy. Real need to stop letting him waste away with half a dozen other kids.

5'11"-6' seems like normal striker height.

I think that Martinelli's height is below average if you calculate based on all the strikers in Premier League.

that was exactly the attack I had in mind when it was first rumoured we were after M0. Of course I'd thought that rumour was just smoke lol.

Hopefully we are training him to be a striker. He could be a good winger or a world class striker IMO.
