Guendouzi is a great prospect I agree but the others are much more spectacular.

Nelson has really only shone in glimpses.

I just don't see it with Guendouzi. I hope I am wrong. He will be a good player. But Martinelli could turn out to be an all timer for the club.

He's better at LW in my opinion, far more involved in play and can influence our attack more.

These Brazilian attackers are phenomenal even from regional 4th division compared to our academy talents with proper training at the same age. I wish the rules allow us to sign more players like this for peanuts instead of needing to loan them out.

It’s his own preference too isn’t it? He’s always driving into the box anyway, actually a lot more than Auba when he’s placed on the wing.

Agee with you both. Also kind of fascinating to see a freshman whose been hacked by the best part of the league in the last 15 months absorb and showcase that tactic in that context last night. I’m sure he knows that’s last resort but fascinating nonetheless.

Yeah I say keep these 6-7 youngsters for five years and sit back for at least 1-2 seasons and give them a chance to fall and get back up and grow. Maybe the odd piece of brilliant business to set one away for 40 mil like Iwobi and AOC. But given our plight I think financial returns from selling a prospect prematurely is offset by their potential level change in their early to mid 20s.

I think people need to take Douzi age into context when judging him. How often have 20 year old centre mids looked this good in the PL? And not AMs, actually CMs? He's miles ahead of Willock for instance and I still rate Willock and think he can be a player for us.

Great finish by him yesterday, I think just before half time Twitter was saying he was about to come off for Holding. Glad he didn't make that change now!

The finish was just pure class but the boy has ice running through his veins. Got fortunate that when he wrong footed Kante he slipped but the rest of it was not fortunate. Apart from Auba nobody is scoring that chance and I wouldn't fully back Auba either!

Good work. All the more satisfying that he made about three trips to Carrington before we signed him. United could use a player like him

Bring Back Kerrea Gilbert

Guendouzi has a tonne to learn, but he is one of the few we can trust in possession. His technique is very good, and he has a nice first touch.

Really good at getting his body in between the man and the ball - he draws many fouls like that.

Arteta is handling him well. The kid needs to be a sub and a cup starter for now.
