Monreal was tbf, lost a step recently though.
Neither was exciting.
Nothing exciting about Tierney for me, but he does look defensively very solid which I like.
Gibbs was never good enough, Monreal was very consistent for a while but started to decline the last couple of seasons
Looks to have personality as well. Would be brilliant for us.
My concerns with watching what video there is around of Tierney is how quick is he really? He looks a little slow off the mark, flat footed even. Maybe a little weak in close quarters in terms of his passing.
