Oh well.
Let's focus on getting a CB signed before the deadline then and convince Kolašinac that every right winger is a car-jacker.

Get him in the Jan Tran
Let us still get him, and get him integrated with the group.
We still need him, and if he is good enough, we can’t afford to leave the door open for any other team.
Also with price inflation best to get it done, I for one really like Chilwell, but how much would he cost? Look at what maguire went for and you realise what we are up against.
Surely we must have been looking at other left backs? There has to be someone else out there who would be better than Kolasinac and an old and busted Monreal.

The more I read about this guy, the more I think he's another Rosicky waiting to happen.
Why, it’s only a hernia, not an ACL which is worse. Hernias don’t even effect your legs.
He has Gilmores Groin, which can be a pretty horrendous injury. Two rugby players, Manu Tuilagi and Matt Tait were both out for over a year with it. Tuilagi recovered after about 12 months, played for a bit, then missed about another 6 months with it. Not sure on the exact details, but I think it’s when the muscle separates from the pubis bone, and there’s no surgical intervention that can sort it. Just rest and rehab...and hope.
Holy shit, hey Timbo.
This doesn't sound like a plan. I say we buy the guy in January when he's had time to recuperate and prove himself. Saka will have to man up for the days that Kola needs a rest.
we need to move on. should have been moved on when they mentioned Osteitis pubis a month ago.
btw, Gilmores Groin, is more commonly known as sports hernia and that isn't uncommon and surgery can be performed. this Osteitis pubis, only rest.
I am still incredibly wary of anything Neil Lennon has to say anout this transfer and Kieran Tierney.
Celtic are reportedly about to sign Rico Henry for £7m:

I think there's a good chance all the talk of his injury problems have been greatly exaggerated. It's certainly an absurd negotiating tactic when you're trying to get the best deal possible.
At the very least, if we sign Tierney, and I still think we will, he categorically does not have a debilitating, incurable groin problem. There's no way we'd risk £25m in that scenario.
That's my thinking - any big risk like that would be picked up in the medical and Celtic wouldn't be splashing the cash without a pretty strong belief this transfer is going through. I thought the hold up stemmed from success related add-ons which they didn't want to accept. If there was a reasonable risk regarding his fitness we could tailor the offer to appearance related top-ups.

Hey, mate.
Raul has even gotten Tim back.
Timbo got the call too.
Timothy-Robert, the one and only!
I said it, we'll have everyone back by the end of this transfer window.
Why have we left this so late? Is he has a known injury problem surely we will want our medical team with him a little longer?
Have a feeling we won't be getting him now.
Some rumours we may delay this one and go all in for a CB, I could live with that. We do need a LB but CB should take more priority for now.
go back for him in january, if celtic makes the CL group stages let him get a run out in that before they are bounced.
Theres no way he will be staying if Celtic completes the move for Henry

That is a big worry as signing him now is a years wages down the drain with no guarantee that he will recover.
Welcome back Tim-dawg, btw.
Dula will be pleased!
Still in for him?
