Flamini and coq were both great for a season. Kante is excellent I'm not his biggest fan but he does what he does year after year unlike those two. There was a point people rated both of those guys higher than they would now because they both (despite some limitations) had really good seasons.

Fans are generally poor at judging midfielders I think is his point.

Gomes looks good. My worry is that if you aim for someone with huge potential and they don't work out they're often still good squad players. But when you aim for a medium player and it doesn't work out you have an absolute shitster.
