To hire him permanently while they're not sure if he gets top four even if they could wait until the season is over is a pretty good sign that they won't fire him.

And that view is shared by at least 1 MU supporter at work.
As such there was little downside to wait until the end of the season before making a decision, whereas now it seems they have made the decision based upon a feel good factor.

In all seriousness, he's a very good player, probably Spurs' best player, but Madrid need to aim higher if they want to get back to winning La Ligas and Champions Leagues in the near future.

Spurs have profited nicely off that Real Madrid supply line. More power to them. It makes so much sense for them to make that trade and get 2-3 players. With clever buying, they could do it.

Dont know about"very good relationship", they gave us Mascarell for a season and activated his buyback only to sell him for a couple million more to Schalke. If they want Jovic it'll have to be for more than 50m, either that or 50m + one of Raul de Tomas (preferably) or 60m + Pedro Ruiz

Either way I'd rather see Jovic still in Frankfurt colours next season. Would be a shit point to announce a transfer anyway

Most definitely. Mariano is a poacher who's a bit shit at everything but shooting, only thing he might have over him is heading but Frankfurt have two guys who are world class in the air in Haller and Paciencia.

RDT has far more in his locker, terrific long range shooting with either foot, far better passer, better dribbling hes pretty much the complete package. Hes not on Jovics level of course but we could do a lot worse for a replacement.

Paciencia's goal against Benfica was amazing. One of the best headers I have seen this season

Yeah it was class, has some serious leap on him seeing how hes just 184cm but still wins every ball into the box. Hes yet to score with his feet for Frankfurt
