I hope we don't extend this nothing player.
Suarez joins Arsenal

I agree.
I can't call him pointless till he is given a chance.
Takuma Asano is still our player and if he comes back and delivers, he wouldn't be pointless.
I reckon the signing may have been made with a long term, permanent deal in mind.
I’ve actually liked what I’ve seen from him on limited viewing. But if our budget it limited then I’m not sure I want him to be our forward/wide player signing.
Yeah, he's looked interesting but still wtf.
Huy barely played at Barca. He could still be going through conditioning. Which would speak to bad scouting on our part.
I'm not sure you can call it scouting in any meaningful way when Emery wanted one of his old players and Sanllehi helped broker a deal with his old place of employment.
Suarez comes across as a really pointless January signing considering how out of shape he is and how there doesn't seem to have been any plan for how to use him, but banudan is right; he could still come good in the long term. You have to think we wanted him for more than just six months.
Showed a nice turn of pace today
Yeah, I think I agree with goon- based on how we've been using him, it seems like this is a long term signing.
Looked much improved in the few minutes he had today as well
He looked OK today but I still reckon we should pass on signing him long term. He may end up being OK but I don't think he'll be good enough to warrant the time and money.
something tells me we'll buy him permanently regardless of his performances this season, unless an incredible winger becomes available in the market which changes our focus
Did good things against a tired deflated Manc defence yesterday. That's not necessarily something we always see.
Agree that he’s probably a long term signing. Emery’s relaxed approach to getting him ready looks like a long term mindset versus a dshort term mindset. If you see an asset as your own, you take care of it. I think Emery just has him doing 2 a days. We will see more of him soon. Looked tidy today. Another link player.
The boy can dribble. I kinda want to see more of him.
Yeah, this guy can really dribble. Promising cameo yesterday.
Has a lot of thrust when he carries the ball, I like.
Also seems to have a decent frame - I was expecting your typical La Liga midget.
Like David Silva and Cazorla?
If we think of AM-N as being a utility defensive player, then perhaps Suarez can fill that role as an attacking / creative player?
Looks like he's off. What a deal

What a ridiculous club.
It didn't cost us anything, the alternative was nobody, he's now injured. It's ridiculous that we apparently didn't have any money, but given that we didn't it's not ridiculous that we got him.
