Agreed. I think the squad's a bit too flawed to really talk about it. At times there has been evidence of some things (eg pressing) improving under Emery. The overall setup has been more paranoid and defensive than Wengerball.
I'm extremely concerned about our collapsing form and resolve. Our results have gone utterly to shit in the past few weeks when even average performances would have seen us likely to reach our season targets.
To me the Europa League is now the acid test for Emery and his first season at Arsenal. If and only if we win that trophy, I think our achievement will have been acceptable. Regardless I'm now ambivalent about whether he stays or goes, but I wouldn't actively call for it until we had a good replacement in mind. With our recent form I just can't see us entering the summer with good morale, whereas this season I think we had a considerable bounce from Wenger's removal.
I personally believe he will be supported by the club for at least another season. We have very conservative leadership from KSE.
