Carrasco would be our best attaching signing for a year. Out of Suarez and Perisic, Carrasco is the superior player.

And I'd take Perisic on loan over him for the rest of the season without a doubt.

Not too easy to rack up numbers as a wide midfielder in Simeones system. Bigger issue for me is his inconsistency, he seemed not 100% concentrated against the Getafes or Gijons whereas he always was one of the best players on the pitch in big games. Hope his time in China will have fixed that

We haven't signed any attackers since the January transfer window last year though 😆
Dalian are willing to sanction a loan with an option to buy deal for Carrasco & discussions are ongoing with #AFC via Telegraph
It's all over the place, it might happen.
Carrasco's agent has just come out and said 'everything is possible' but we need to take our finger out because we may be running out of time and we need to act decisive.

We are running out of time.

This one feels like the kind of thing that slips away from us usually. Apparently whoever broke this story first is saying that Dalian want to ensure they are able to bring in a replacement.

He hasn’t really racked up numbers in china either though, has he?
His numbers are not that bad, just average.
At 25 yrs of age though he's at the right age to take it up a level. Mahrez is someone who's also a bit of a show pony that lacks awareness, but it didn't stop him having super end product.
It's kind of wild that the brief appeared to be a midfielder and a winger (as per ornstei), but it looks like we're actually going for two wide players according to Emery.
Carrasco isn't better than Perisic. He might have an edge on the basis that he's younger but I'd rather have Perisic as a short term loan option
Personally think that Perisic is very overrated. Better take Carrasco, with an option to buy and see if he can go up a level. We know Perisic wont.
AC Milan back in for Carrasco apparently.
We need to hurry the fuck up.
Apparently he prefers Milan. Never rated him.
Shit show pony. Poor mans Quaresma.
[#AFC are already in advanced talks with Carrasco’s club and reps over a deal & are confident of getting their man despite late interest from Milan [via @johncrossmirror]
Johnny boy says it's still on
Always rated Mirror and John Cross. Get in!
I think a lot of people will be surprised when they see how good Carrasco is for us. Perisic over him? No way
Apparently his wages are too expensive for Milan (he wants the same as Higuain).
Milan would not be able to afford him according to my contact.
