Each passing year, I’m more infuriated by Dein and his boy. The unleashed a decade of hell on this great institution. We got nothing done during this whole Kroenke-Usmanov affair, and Dein sat back and stacked his chips. And it all ends with the mustache victorious but at what cost?
Dein may have given Kroenke and Usmanov their initial stakes, but it was PH-W who invited Kroenke to join the BoD and then place an embargo on the further sale of any shares for 12 months, and then they could only be offered to another board member before anyone else. Then when Fizsman was dying he then arranged for Kroenke to buy Fizsman's shares to launch the take-over, and then he sold his own and pressured / convinced Lady Nina and other board members to do the same.
