I thought Boateng was playing as a forward now and was a replacement for Munir, but I have no idea really.

He has played as a #10 for Sassuolo I think. Whoscored has him listed as a striker but I don't think it's correct. Not sure where Suarez has gotten his minutes but I think Boateng is basically going to be competition for Coutinho.

Suarez gets wide minutes on both sides. Primarily from the left, but he’s also spent time on the right.

Quite a few Barca twitter account mentioned this too.

barca in the front of the queue for frenkie de jong. 90m the figure being touted

Yeah. Boateng most likely in to spell Suarez, who has been looking good btw. That whole front linen- Dembélé, Suarez, Messi. Messi came off the bench and looked half his age just slicing through this defense. He has this marvelous thing of just constantly getting the ball out of his feet quickly with minimum back lift but maximum power.

Contrast with the fortunes of Coutinho who looked like an early season Dembélé on attack. He kept breaking down their counters by going it alone and running into traffic or making passes late. He seems lost and his desire to impress is only making things worse v

Bournemouth have spent 12m on some Welsh centre half from Brentford with less than 50 Championship appearances. Takes their overall spending this season close to 100m now

Good for them they're not afraid to spend to secure their position in the league. Still would love to seem them go down, 50m+ on two kids in the Championship, some no mark Spanish left back and fucking Solanke is embarrassing use of funds.

Yep, their spending on Ake and Solanke has infuriated me. Just handing out money to our rivals, would love to see them vanish from the league

Why you so angry at them? You should ask why we haven't sold them Jenkinson, Chambers, Mustafi or any one of the many guys on our squad who could fetch a pretty penny

Chambers we could sell for a pretty penny, especially if Fulham stay up. Was voted their MotM again against Tottenham.

Guys like AMN and Iwobi are our big cash cows, possibly Holding too. Could probably fetch £20m+ for each of them if we do well. I don't think it's worth selling any of them though.

The likes of Jenko and Welbeck are the ones we should have cashed in on, bit unlikely with the latter with injuries and the first turned out to be a greedy fucker when we tried.

People are going to be surprised by how good Solanke actually is. The boy tears it up for England u21s and with the chances Bournemouth create he’ll grab goals for them.

£20m or whatever it was seems a lot but if he gets 15 goals in a season for them his price will double in this market.

I would approach it differently.
Sell Mustafi, Xhaka, Jenkinson, Chambers. Guys you all either hate or who contribute nothing at all.
I woul dkepe Iwobi, AMN and Holding and build the squad around them, Guendouzi, etc.
And then get on my knees before Stan until he puts in a shareholders loan of 20m pounds to bring in 3-4 superstars to hold it altogether.

For me some ordinary players from our rivals seem to go for ridiculous prices, while our players just seem to devalue. It is maddening

Frenkie De Jong to Barcelona being reported

I approve. Rather there than City.

Because they're in Premier League, presumably.

I don't think it matters in the end personally. The oligarchs will buy some other world class player and that's that.
