How do you propose keeping Auba, Laca and this new striker happy given we barely keep the first two happy.

Auba has 2 years at peak left still I think.

Werner can play LW as well. He's a flexible player.

Bayern badly want him, he's not going to bench Lewandowski, but he can play on the wing and be Roberry's replacement.

Absolutely we should be in for him.

By getting rid of one of them?

Werner is very talented but wasted on the wing. Needs to play up front in a counter attacking team, he becomes a big useless when faced with a parked bus although he's still young and can learn

Yep, he's still young - plus talented strikers don't just become available so we need to move when we can, particularly when we're in a position of strength. We had to wait 4 years after selling van Persie before we signed Lacazette and Auba.

Obviously if he costs crazy money then we should (and more importantly can!) walk away

Problem is Werner will want to play and we struggle to fit Laca and Auba into the same line up. Also he's really nothing special on the wing

Would rather wait until summer 2020 and pay whatever Jovic will cost by then. Bias aside I think he's the biggest striker talent in the world, all other young forwards have pace technique etc but none have his composure or finishing

The fact we seem to struggle to play with two strikers is alarming enough. I love Werner’s attitude and work rate, but unless something changes radically I can’t see where he fits in.

Werner is basically Aubameyang. Not what we need.

Werner finishing is consistently good, but yeah he is a very counter attacking striker. I rate him highly but not one of our priority. And if we are looking at strikers I would rather Jovic or Piatek.

Liverpool have agreed a £19million fee with Bournemouth for the sale of Dominic Solanke #LFC

Another shit player Liverpool recieving tons for.

Signed for £3m, does nothing and sold a year later for £19m. Impressive.

Liverpool getting £19m for a nobody while we we get fuck all for Ramsey, Wilshere and Welbeck combined. Peak.

And this is what was the point of Clrnc 's tweet about how we much up our sales of gnabry and the like. If you go into details you can justify everything but point remains our sales are shit. And have been since Henry.

We sold Szczesny and Gnabry for a combined fee that was less than what Solanke has gone for. 😆

Lol, fucking joke how much they get for these fringe players. Some more money they'll reinvest, probably be in for Fekir or someone similar soon. Rumours on Twitter that they may make a move for Werner, I think they would be better served with a more creative player though.

And we sold Ox to Liverpool for more than what Roma got for Salah. Pointless comparisons.

Nah Ox went for £35m, Salah went for £44m with bonuses, even so if they sold Ox, they would probably end up getting at least £30m for him. We are just rubbish at selling players for top value. Lack of long term planning, good negotiators, and we probably don't have the same links as Liverpool do.

Lack of planning for players like Welbeck and Ramsey, sure. But the rest are what they are.

Who have we sold that we look like we got seriously screwed on? Most of them went on to do fuck all. Our players are not in demand and are largely undesirable due to age, injuries, performances and high wages, that's the simple truth of the matter.

There's no magic negotiating trick that Gazidis missed in the negotiation seminar that gets people to shell out shitloads for shit players.
