It's a pity Ramsey could not play today. The 2nd half would've been perfect for giving him a run-out so that he could re-acquaint himself with the boys. Really looking forward to having him. As Rosicky, Song and Fabregas all go down, his arrival is most welcome.

Do we really think he'll be considered as much of an option as Denilson and Diaby over the coming weeks? I really hope so, but I can't see it happening for some reason.

That video reminds me why I still rate Ramsey higher than I do Wilshere.

Ramsey had started featuring regularly last season before his injury. If he is sharp i have no doubt Wenger will play him. It is unlikely though. He will take some time before getting the sharpness required to play the kind of football we do. A few sub appearances would help that process.

Both brilliant, Flo. Just pray Aaron will be the same.

I also hope Diaby can step up consistently now.

He was good last night even if poor in the last third, part of which was due to his lack of awareness and also because there was no one making runs into the box from either midfield or the wing.

I like him because he is direct and looks to attack, once he is on the edge of the box he doesn't want to look for a sideways pass. At times when there is no movement he dwells on the ball too long.

At this point I have very little faith in Diaby. If he manages to string a couple of decent games together he almost inevitably ends up picking up a muscle strain that puts and end to it, and even when fit he rarely manages two good performances in a row anyway.

That video is football porn but a pre-injury highlights reel unfortunately doesn't tell us anything about what Ramsey would be like for us tomorrow.

Incredibly nervy about this one already to be honest. I really hope some of those that'll be on the teamsheet begin to prove me wrong, and step up, but i can't help but feel we're going to drop points in this one.

What's wrong with Koscielny, apart from a broken hymen?

And what's wrong with Song? A Diaby-Denilson/Rosicky/Wilshere midfield makes me nervous as hell. At least Jack provides a bit of urgency.

Kos has a hamstring problem and Song has blood in his knee...

Tight hamstring for Koscielny as per Wenger.

I think we will struggle. It all depends on how well Arshavin, Wilshere and Nasri can individually influence the game.

Song injured for Barcelona?

Might as well don't even bother turning up. So many key players injured.

We beat Barca in the first leg with Song playing abysmally.

We won't miss him in that game as much as we'll miss him against Sunderland.

Probably right there Asa.

So we're left with just Nasri and Wilshere from our first choice midfield / attack.
A lot of pressure on both of them plus Arshavin now, we need them to be at their best.

Not exactly amazed that Kos is not starting, Squillaci will need to put in another Stoke standard 90 minutes in defence.

I know Sunderland have lost their last 2 away games but in a way that makes me more nervous.
