It gets better, Wilshere has an ankle knock and is out of training on Sunday, will be assessed on Monday according to Wenger.

Of course he has. He got stomped on a dozen times today and the cunt with the whistle did nothing.

We still had that regardless, just not for the 90 mins but we've won many league games in the past where we're not at our 100% flowing best and it will still be enough to get the 3 points. I feel depressed now.

I agree that we don't have to be at our free flowing best to win.
I agree that we have players with character and mental strength but today, in the key midfield area, for over half of the game we played Denilson and Diaby neither of whom had the courage or conviction to play as we needed them to.
Only when they went off did we see an improvement.

We can't blame the referee for their attitude or poor form, and in my mind playing the two of them together for so long in the game had just as much impact on the outcome as the poor standard of refereeing.

Wenger saying he's disgusted with the decisions today.

About time.

He also said that he felt "justice has not been done today", then when the interviewer quickly moves on the next question he adds "it's not the first time" but the interviewer couldn't quite catch that he said that. He did have a tone of sympathy for Arsene throughout, though.

I am so disappointed.

Anyways, Djourou had a very good first half and Koscielny and excellent second half but everytime they bombed forward i had a heart in mouth moment.

Szczensy's save on that Wellbeck shot was fantastic at full stretch.

The keeper made some good saves, we hit the post, had two critical decisions go against us and Wilshere may be injured.

Just super.

Distracted myself for an hour and half making some dinner, but I'm still seething. What a crap, crap day.

we need to get pires in training and tell diaby to just watch pires. keep it simple, think ahead to minimise your touches on the ball and make the right decisions.

Why? What's the point? We might as well get Thierry Henry back to coach Rhys Murphy. When are people going to realise Diaby is an awful, damn awful footballer?

Same day you realize that Koscielny is an error-prone, no look-up back passing defender Ricks. ;-)

I'm close to losing faith with Diaby too. He's not improving whatsoever.

Yep. Regardless of what meatwad thinks, he is indeed a shitster!

It was fairy sickening seeing Rosicky enter the fray as well.
Can't understand why Wenger didn't play Ramsey for the last fifteen minutes or so.

Haven't read any of the posts yet, but FUCK. I think at the end of the day, today demonstrated that we're going to struggle in front of goal. We needed a striker that was going to get in the box and be involved, and Bendtner flat out did not do that.

The refs are absolutely fucking useless as well. Today was seriously an injustice.

Just home. Poor game for sixty minutes but did enough to just about scrape it. Thats of course if the game was even remotely fair. Once again referee and linesman fucked us over. Once again we'll have to listen to mugs taunting us that we're soft and paranoid. Absolutely seething. Seeing the difference between how our games and Uniteds are refereed over the course of a season is sickening. That said we know exactly what to expect from refs before we even play the game. Bah

Wenger must have felt it was too intense a game to bring Ramsey on. He's been out for a year and I highly doubt he'll be able to hit the ground running. He's still an inexperienced footballer with flaws in his game. Flaws which he was just starting to iron out before he got injured.

Ramsey could have started the game though and eased himself into the team. Particularly given that his competition for a place was Denilson.

Today was daylight robbery. Another useless ref to add to the list of Manure fans. We had our usual passengers, but we still did enough to win this game.

Think i'm more disappointed with this result moreso than the Birmingham game. Anyone else getting that horrible feeling of déja vu? Feels like i'm watching a re-run of last season.

It seems like déja vu because of the injuries but I think that's the kind of game we'd have lost last season to a Fabianski special or some other last minute defensive disaster.

Our defence held it together when they needed to.
Sczcesny made a fantastic save from Welbeck late on and never looked under pressure.
Djourou was excellent throughout despite having to play most of the game with Diaby and Denilson ahead of him.

I'm amazed so many of you still had so much belief after last weekend.

I spent most of January and February shitting myself when we played our games. I was an emotional mess because maybe we could really do something. Now I feel resigned to failure and defeat. You think the stress of watching a game can be so painful when it's happening, but the numbness is actually a lot worse.

Fuck these players frankly. Chokers, and pussys the lot of them.
