Chelsea winning it last year and the gap year for United was too much for some somewhere.
I didn't pay heed to these theories before, but you now have to believe something sinister is at work.

We can't let the terrible decisions disguise just how dreadful we were for 70 minutes. Diaby and Denilson are the worst midfielders I've ever seen play for Arsenal. Wenger should hang his head in shame that he has given those two as many game as he has at this great club. It's an insult.
For all of you who rate Diaby, seriously, he is is such a terrible footballer, it's almost comical. I can't take any more of him.
And they're both going to be playing against Barcelona most likely

Qft
Arshavin must feel like he got raped. That was ridiculous.
qs! wrote:You know what really got me today. When they got a free out because Shava stood in front of the keeper at a corner and the keeper ran into him. Do we ever get a decision like that in our favour? Absolutely not. We're not playing on a level field.
It happened to Almunia against Villa last season. We got a penalty against us instead.

I mean WBA next week might kill us. They call problems all over the shop for us.
You're right Tony. Utd will win all their games, we'll lose all of ours. We'll probably get relegated.
You'd think Tony would be happy, we always do better than he expects.

Me neither. I was almost converted last season when he put in a few months of good performances but he's the dumbest, slowest and most brainless player I've ever seen in an Arsenal shirt. Has he ever played a pass without taking six or seven touches on the ball? I screamed so much at him in the second half that I've got a headache now.
I was actually shaking with rage after the final whistle. Unbelievable.

I hope if we don't win the league people won't be blaming it on the refs because our problems will then be forever glossed over.
So because Chamakh hits the bar its ok we had a goal disallowed and a clear pen not given?
No it's not ok.
But you knew that's not what I said.
But you take your chances. Let's not pretend we couldn't have scored before we did.
Anyway, off out now. Cant help but think some of you are over reacting here.

Its because we had Diaby and Denilson both on at the same time, a recipe for ineptness. I would have risked Song if he was available or taken Denilson off much earlier as he was shocking. Diaby really is brainless at times, his awareness is shocking.

We're still gonna win the league.
This result will feel better in about 25 hours time.
Yeah we're relying on Liverpool to rescue this weekend now.

i find it odd wenger has not yet given up on diaby and denilson.
there were a lot of things that could have won the game for us today. the ref, putting away our chances and so on, but the most important factor is the team selection. we wasted 70 mins of the game and were forced to chase a result in the end. all because of wenger's terrible team selection.
See we go to Newcastle, there is a penalty given against us for the slightest of pushes by Koscielny in a congested box with the Newcastle player running away from goal.
We get nothing for THAT push today.
Then a penalty is given when Rosicky and Koscielny go up to meet a cross sandwiching a Newcastle player and there is no appeal from anyone. A suo moto decision.
All said and done about our Newcastle capitulation, if those penalties aren't given we don't drop points, simple us.
Fuck it!
Chesny deserves credit for the saves he made at the end. My anger wouldve been 50x more if we lost that at the end. That bald scum would've died

I'm just so angry right now.
qs! wrote:Ricky1985 wrote:Why do we even bother trying to stand up to United? Everyone wants them to win it anyway.
Those calls would never, ever have happened at Old Trafford. It's infuriating to the point of rage. I'm just so so so so fed up with it.

Its absolutely an impossible task for us. Every ref wanting us to die, wanting them to win. Its not even 0 and 1, its -1 and 1 FFS
Ricky1985 wrote:We can't let the terrible decisions disguise just how dreadful we were for 70 minutes.
So fucking what? We had half the first team missing. Where does it say that we have to play well for 90 minutes to win a football game? We simple have to score more goals than the opposition. If I'm not mistaken we did exactly that, but we got 1 point.

because you can only change the things you can change. shitty refs is beyond arsenal's influence. it's just a fact of life.
shitty team selections, however, is something arsenal (wenger) can control.

Chamakh.
we need to get pires in training and tell diaby to just watch pires. keep it simple, think ahead to minimise your touches on the ball and make the right decisions.
awful, awful refereeing. i know the linesmen have a really hard job, and i have to question why we don't have video/computer assistance with it, since it'd be easy to implement. he totally bottled it on the penner, though.
