People who are comparing Emery to Klopp and Guardiola, I think first of all those 2 managers has more impressive CVs definitely in leagues.
Secondly, after half a year in charge, you can see the clear distinct style they are trying to implement and the mistakes the players are making was part of the process.
That's not really true Clrnc. Half a year in was e.g. that game were Walcott scored the opener at the Etihad when we still managed to lose 2-1. That match was beyond dreadful from City and it's a miracle we somehow lost to them
Also Klopp half a year into the job was busy celebrating 2-2 draws at home vs West Brom and finishing 8th in the league. Obviously they both were working on their teams and spending 100s of millions in the process but it's not like the results were any more visible than with us
I wouldn't even mind replacing Emery even now if there was some blatantly better manager around interested in taking over and pushing us to the next level all on a budget of course. But since Simeone looks unlikely and everyone else seems just as much of a gamble we might as well stick to our manager and give him time and a budget to create a challenging team.
I thought Mustafi could become the defender he looked like at Valencia but I've lost patience by now he's been shit for way longer than he's been good. Just break the bank on Koulibaly, he's signed an extension but he must be tired of the fucking monkey noises everywhere. He'd be perfect, almost unbeatable 1 on 1 and possibly the best ball playing centre half around. Then start investing in young attackers
