The problem with starting both isn't so much the PL games, but the other comps we are also involved in unless you are prepared to put all your best resources into 1 basket.

The other thing by not giving both players 90 mins is that you can alternate between them as to who gets a full game in what comps so as to try to keep both fresh and avoid burn-out.

United sacked Moyes extremely quickly. 5 years later they have just sacked a manager who achieved a lower points per game. Give the guy a team that is his own and then sack him after observing him leading that.

No sack him now and bring in Jardim. Then if he's unable to fix the team in six months sack him too. Then maybe try Arteta for a six month period then Moyes or someone.

Clearly at some point some miracle worker will emerge who can whip this shambles devoid of any tactical or positional awareness into challengers within half a season, I mean every club found one of those right?

Perhaps there's a miracle worker out there who doesn't chance formations three times a game and doesn't alienate the best players at the club.

Raul/sven/unai has a few transfer windows to fix up the gaps in the squad. That freshly minted 500k pw we're coughing up to ozil and mkhitaryan is a bit of a millstone. That extra 50m from cl qualification + new adidas money would mean we can really go to work in the summer

I "only" fully watched the first half but did you really think they were that much better than us? First goal was a fluke, the others were individual errors or embarrassing dives. They're a good team but they're no invincibles and I still expect City to win the league.

Mate if City don’t beat them next Thursday, Liverpool will win the league. They are like Leicester City from 3 years ago on steroids.

Yeah, if you take away the 5 goals that they scored then we actually win that game 1-0. Talk about an overreaction.
