Honestly, we can discuss what Emery has got to the club without bringing Wenger into question all the time even if he is the natural reference point, especially for the derby, a game he only ever lost once at home and lost only 8 in the League overall in 44 meetings, 6 of them in the last 6 years. He also only ever lost once in the Cup(s). A game in which form goes out of the window can't be dominated in such a manner if the team isn't up for it.
Emery is a new manager who aside from his tactical capabilities comes with a zeal and desire to win which had unsurprisingly become blunt in Wenger. I am absolutely loving it. He is a great appointment and win the correct moves in the market, a quality that has evaded us in the last, he can do great things.
