Maitland Niles hasn't played a single minute of football for more than four months, throwing him on under these circumstances would most likely have been a lot worse than playing Guendouzi. Not like the latter made us any more porous than in the ten minutes before
Everybody wants everything all at once. Amn still a kid. It was a tight game. We're still fifth.
Guendouzi was good.

Good article. I have to say I always love what I hear about his methods and personality and work ethic.
Success is inevitable with the attitude he has.
Think we can win the league in 2-3 seasons if he is allowed and able to make the team his.
Heβs very astute. I do hope he targets players in future transfer windows who possess decent physical traits
Thomas Partey would be a good start maybe. We were linked a while ago and it always seemed like a credible rumour to me based on sheer gut feeling.
Yea it's a logical signing. I'd be quite happy.
I think bar Saul he's actually the player Atletico are least likely to sell these days. His standing at the club has gone up very fast, if we wanted to sign him we should have done it a year or 18 months ago.
Even DiabyKungFu is coming around now...
Wonderful manager.
2 half time subs, got the tactics absolutely perfect.
bigger takeaway for me is that the players absolutely buy into what hes selling. a huge change from the last few seasons
He's not afraid of making unpopular decisions for the best of the team. So far so good really.
Wenger has never made 2 half time subs to tweak formation before in his entire reign.

π π π π π Yes. Deciding to actually play our best players after fucking around for 45 minutes on some bizarre ego trip. Spot on. What a manager. We're so lucky to have him.
We changed formation at least 3 times today. I wouldnβt really endorse that normally but you canβt argue against the effectiveness.
More impressive though is our big game mentality. Aside from a couple of spells which is inevitable, we were right on it.

We were good in the first half though so that argument is kinda moot.
we played fine in the first half, except for a 5 minute spell. during that 5 minute spell, son dived for a free kick which they scored from, which might have been offside, then son dived for a penalty.

Wenger never dropped a big player. Ever in his entire career.
Boss.

There was a clip where Carcedo was discussing the change of formation with Emery and he had all of them planned on a paper for different situations. Have to say their preparation is always impressive.
This club does recruit managers well. What a likeable man, we couldn't have asked for better after Wenger.
