In terms of sheer entertainment, this is the greatest season I have ever seen in my entire life. Ajax beating Juventus and Real Madrid in their own stadium. Man Utd's comeback against all odds in Paris. Man City scoring a last minute winner against Tottenham, only for the goal to be disallowed. Liverpool's comeback against Barcelona and Tottenham's comeback against Ajax. Add to that, a title race which has gone down to the last day with two teams finishing just off 100 points. A race for a top 4 spot which was pathetically contested between former title challengers Chelsea, Arsenal and Man Utd. A Europa league final which could include Arsenal and Chelsea, and a potential trophy for our lot. Not to forget the Carling Cup final where Kepa refused to come off in dramatic fashion, and Wolves's promotion to the PL and subsequently beating and outplaying the best teams in the land. It has been an incredible season. Just need our boys to bring home the Europa League. Come on Arsenal!

This is part of the package of supporting a football club, cant pick the unbeaten league campaign raisins then dodge the turds we have coming our way these days. Shit like this happens and it will inevitably happen again, can't let it dictate our relationship to the club we support though.

It's bizarre. As if we'd be cheering Tottenham on if we were sitting top of the league. If anything I used to get a hell of a lot more joy from their failure back when we were good. Now it's just to make football less shit.

getting to the final doesn't mean shit (we've been there). losing in the final is worse than any loss before it. in hindsight i would have preferred riquelme score that penalty than what transpired later. i hate barcelona more than i do liverpool, so that comeback doesn't bother me. liverpool already have so many damn champions league/european cup trophies that one more won't matter to us. after liverpool spanks the shit outta them they'll wish ajax advanced.

what it should do is fuel our club and motivate them to get their shit together and try to catch up to the teams above us. but we know that isnt going to happen, and that is the most frustrating part of this for me

Plus it will just make it all the more sweeter when we're good again 15 years down the line.

It should be us in the final. We were positioned so well in 2013 to take the step up. Ever since buying ozil we've been making bad decisions all over the place. What you put out is what you get back, and we've been radiating fear, paralysis, and decay for 5 years. The universe is rubbing our noses in it by having 2 teams that were worse than us a few years ago make the cl final

And it's all cyclical. We will be good again even though it might get worse before it gets better. We are still the 3rd most successful club in English Football and will remain so for a long time.

Bitter pill to swallow perhaps, but it wouldn't even be one of my top 10 disappointments this season. We're on a road to nowhere with no identity and no ideas, and that's what grates me.

It feels like I have been having the worst nightmare possible the last 2 days. Liverpool are one of the clubs I hate the most, they are up there with the Mancs for me, I even prefer Chelsea to them and that should tell you something.

I now have to support that same Liverpool against Spurs. Root for Henderson and co, celebrate their goals along with Stevie Me and all their insufferable fans. I still hope to wake up from this nightmare

Summer of 2016 was particularly bad. Everyone could see that Xhaka was a shit player before we signed him. Slow and cumbersome both on and off the ball. Mustafi and Perez were even worse, and £50 mill thrown away. Talent assessment is nonexistent at Arsenal and that is what completely kills us.
