No mention of England rolling Spain?
Coupe of fucking sick goals
well, to be fair, spain were kicking the shit out of them for most of the game. england just (for once) took all of their chances, and i do mean all. every shot on target ended up in the goal.

well it would have been criminal not to have put those chances in.

the icing on the cake is that it was the eve of his 3-0th birthday.
Carlos Bacca being bossy.

Glad to read the Wembley sale has fallen through. It always seemed like an incredibly inefficient and embarrassing way to raise funds for grassroots football that would've eaten away at the remnant dignity of the FA.
Nothing about the cost of building stadiums and the financing thereof makes sense in England.

I don't know about that. I wasn't for the sale initially but most of the arguments against the sale seem to be sentimental rather than financial. There definitely needs to be a more sustainable way to raise funds and the Premier League cash cow is a good place to start, but if there's no real downside to having a £600m to immediate invest in the grass roots game then why not? By all accounts it's desperately needed.
And the old Wembley was private, so the majority of the traditionalist arguments are void.
Gotta feel for Henry. Falcao, the one good player Monaco have left, pulls his hamstring after 40 minutes, and when he subs on Grandsir in the second half the bloke gets a red card within two minutes.

The only way is up? Losing Falcao for any time will hurt as he's been about the only consistency whilst everyone has been sold around him.
Loftus-Cheek gets on the end of a well-constructed ball in the 2nd minute to give Chelsea the lead. Hleb versus Fabregas for those who still reminisce about that golden era.

Hleb hasn't age well.
Neither has Fabregas.
Dear lord.
They look like if they had a baby it would be named Sméagol
Tbf he's still got exceptionally good close control.
Did not expect him to be any good considering his recent club history. BATE have bought him four times and sold him three times in the last six years according to Wiki.

Surprisingly brought back all those bitter-sweet memories from "that" season. This is the only player who could beat his marker on a phone box. Slowly.

Poor man's Cazorla.
Wonderful footballer. Idiot of a man.
