God what a miserable bunch on here! Thoroughly enjoyed the game, even had a Spurs player spursing it up. Direct, powerful attackers beat out a dominant midfield. A few good goals, a howler, an OG, a pen, I'll take that over Spain vs Netherlands, or Germany vs Argentina.
Reffing was spot on for once as well. Croatia did what they had to do, for the most part, and were tactically solid and quite flexible. Credit to the coach. France took their chances, and they had to. Their defense is really overrated, they play how they do to make space for Mbappé and co, and it works. Croatia played very well, a worthy final that could've gone either way.
