There was an amazing contrast in his passing directions compared to the likes of Elneny of late. I forget the actual figures but it was something like more than 50% of his passes were forward, whereas Elneny had about the same numbers sideways.
Bottom line being that Torreira looks to move the team momentum forward as his 1st instinct.

Bring Back Kerrea Gilbert

Elneny needs to go! Ainsley to take his place in the midfield pecking order (although hopefully higher than that in the near future).

26m only, that's peanuts for a midfield warrior. Far better value than some of the idiots we are linked with this summer.

In the past we are always lacking of such players to win us the midfield battle and subsequently the game. So important to have him.

He has really statted to blossom in an attacking sense in the past 3 or 4 games. Has such ability. And so smart in everything he does.

Fantastic signing and reckon a lot of clubs are kicking themselves for not even making the bidding competitive.

He's so calm on the ball even when surrounded and has a penchant for shooting from outside the box which I love. That confidence must surely inspire the players around him.
