IMO his early development in the forward line/attack makes him more akin to Cazorla as anyone, and accounts for his ability to appreciate movement and options ahead of the ball.
The closest sort of sporting comparison I can make is from cricket in that much of Shane Warne's success as a spin bowler was attributed to him having the same sort of attacking mind set as seen in elite pace bowlers. Warne's instinct was not to tie down an end or strangle the opposition for runs, but to attack the batsmen.
The difference between Torriera and Elneny is that the former looks to advance the ball whereas the latter simply looks to re-cycle the ball for other to advance.
