It's obviously not sustainable. I think City will start to pull away a little by the time we reach the new year, certainly away from 2-3 sides if not all 4. Unless of course some of the big sides can get something out of them in the head to head games.

If I had to predict I'd say City will pull away, Chelsea and Liverpool in behind them and there will be a three way scrap for fourth place between us, Spurs and United.

But all of these clubs are either well drilled or well stocked with talent this season, it's all up for grabs.

I'd have thought City and Liverpool 1-2; Chelsea could either be 3rd by themselves or fall back into the scrap with us and Sp*rs for 3, 4.

Yeah I'd go along with that. Personally I'm a little baffled by the confidence displayed in Chelsea this season.

If we show some more improvement in our defence like we did last game, no reason we shouldn't be in the mix for second place.

Agree. To get 2nd place, I think all you need is a good squad and luck. While we might want to bring in a few new signings, I think our current rate of improvement with existing players bodes well. I expect top 4 as a minimum now given the levels we have shown recently. Liverpool are beatable and Hazard is the only player I fear in Chelsea's team.

I mean, obviously it's emery's first season so things might unravel as the season goes on and we'll realize new things and reset , the christmas period maybe too hectic for him etc. but at current trajectory of performances I'm looking at the second spot. Although I again see no point in predictions like these or what we will do in next 5-7 games or whatever. Whatever happens will happen and we'll find out when it happens.

Yeah, and we're talking about very fine margins to be honest so it's difficult to call. I think our firepower up top might work in our favour though, especially against the lesser sides. I think we're a bigger attacking thread than anyone bar City.

And if we keep up the high scoring, who knows even the bald shit will deploy some classy and intelligent world class negative tactics and we will hold them off for a point.

Nothing announced yet regarding the casualties, but the poor pilot is obviously dead. No one on board would have survived that.

Just awful. It seems extremely unlikely, but I hope the pilot was the only person on board.

I've also just seen that Glenn Hoddle collapsed in the BT Sport studio earlier today and is "seriously ill" in hospital.

It seems all but confirmed that Leicester owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha was on board, and BBC are suggesting Claude Puel was on-board too.
