Commentators talk a lot of rubbish but there is also an expected tendency from Arsenal fans to underrate a good Tottenham side. Pochettino is not a magician. In terms of talent also, especially talent fitting this League, Tottenham have matched or been better than Arsenal in key areas, for a few seasons.
People always talk like there is some massive gap. I can search for articles and podcasts where they’re like “nope, none of them would get in”. You take an Alderweireld, Lloris, and Dembele and then it’s not so obvious after that. Eriksen has had better form than Ozil for the last year, but the latter is a significantly better player.
