I'm not sure exactly what was going on but I know people were outraged over the bid in Naples. Stuff like this is why we have such a bad reputation among agents and other clubs.

I remember. They laughed the offer off then we went for Elneny instead.

Six changes for Manchester United from the side that lost 3-2 at Brighton, with Eric Bailly, Juan Mata, Anthony Martial and Andreas Pereira, who all started that match, not in the squad at all.

Spurs have the more offensive line up despite being away from home.

United don't have a single wide player on the pitch. Ordinarily I wouldn't care but I was looking forward to watching some football this evebing!

If that's the January that we got Elneny then we had an agreement in place with Atletico for Saul Niguez but it got nixed at the last minute because some other midfielder of theirs got injured. I think it might be nice to have the people involved in that bid who were able to identify the likes of Saul and Jorginho still at the club.

I'm watching Spurs and thinking about all the commentators who always say 'No Arsenal player would get in this squad'. I don't believe it. It's purely coaching. Give Emery 4 or 5 months to beat some discpline and shape into our boys. I think commentators confuse good organisation for player talent.

Commentators talk a lot of rubbish but there is also an expected tendency from Arsenal fans to underrate a good Tottenham side. Pochettino is not a magician. In terms of talent also, especially talent fitting this League, Tottenham have matched or been better than Arsenal in key areas, for a few seasons.
