Conte resigned before the club announced the signing. (and it was with the "blessing" of the FIGC)

Perez is the worst kind of scum. Imagine doing this to the national team two bloody days before a tournament that they've spent 4 years preparing for.

Eh, it's business. Nobody had to sack him, that's completely on the Spanish FA, not on Perez.

Conte also hadn’t just signed an extension a few weeks before joining Chelsea. The manager was unethical here. Or Real Madrid jumped the gun. Either way, it really caught the FA by surprise

Yeah the decent thing to do would have been to wait until after the WC but it's Real so hardly surprising.

Real couldn’t wait til after the World Cup. They need to buy players. So they needed to negotiate with the FA first. A short press release would have been ideal for everyone

Is anyone actually even gonna watch Morocco v. Iran? lol.. i just have it on as a stream here at work in the background

Little bit quality. Stretching Ira with a nice mix of carpet and aerial balls.

They didn't even have space in their squad for Boufal. Pity they dont have a striker.

Iran is the opposite, full of strikers but no midfielders.
