Have to say, I think Wenger is just the type of manager who gets respect from places where it doesn't come easy. He would do well at both PSG and Real Madrid in my opinion. It's a bit similar to how Vicente Del Bosque was the only one who could contain the Real Madrid galacticos. He wasn't a flawless tactician or a strong, harsh leader, but they all looked up to him as a father figure.
Some managers (Brentan being a stellar example here) try too hard to earn the respect of the players. Others make the players crave their respect instead, and I think Wenger is one of them. So many of our old players, even among the ones he had a personal falling out with like Fabregas and van Persie, still speak of him like someone as important to their lives as their own families.
