Bradys made similar but not quite as blunt comments on Irish TV about him over the years too. Clearly never liked him. I think he largely blames him for Wenger getting the sack.

Wonder if we will ever know what happened with him. Arteta didn't have a problem with him in the team initially and then all of a sudden he was out of the picture completely. And then our season went off the rails after a few games. It became something of a story for people to link the two events because of the way it panned out after he was de-registered. Arteta deflecting and Ozil trolling , our lack of forward playing ideas and bad results exaggerated the situation more. Wish he would just move on , being spiteful to the club may feel right in his eyes and a kind of payback but I am hoping good results will keep the focus off him altogether.

IIRC Ozil missed the beginning of Project Re-start re injury, and then we changed formation from the 4231 to the 343 = there was no position for him in that shape as he did not have the required work rate or defensive contribution.

In terms of cost to performance ratio he must be up there with the worst ever signing. Even Mustafi still makes the bench.

It's must mean he and Leno hate each other, right? And no Podolski surely says a lot considering he's including his mates (and I thought they were but probably not after all?).

The rest makes for a damn good team tbf.

Yeah Ospina is a weird one but he's also highly rated among players. Just last year one of the Napoli players say he's one of the best keepers they have played with.

He's kinda unfairly criticised here sometimes so the truth is somewhere in the middle. Still no Leno is darn weird but Ozil hardly played with him anyway
