It’s just that he’s a shit player most fans have finally run out of patience with, and many folks are looking for a scape goat to blame our woes on nowadays. It was Xhaka, then Mustafi, then Torreira, then Bellerin, now Lacazette...

Right. When you under perform, and then you demonstrate how little you give a shit about it, it's more annoying than if you are dominating every game while smoking on the bench. A lot of these guys just aren't committed enough, and I'll admit I misjudged Lacazette. Want him out now, for sure.

Hopefully this riles Mikel/Edu and he's gone - not that his laughable performances and lack of goals haven't been reason enough anyway. He's one of the few pawns we can use to bring in something this squad needs.

Juve have a ton of great players, but they're just going to trick us into picking up Rugani or some similar crap if we're open to a swap deal. I'm actually worried about that now. We narrowly avoided shooting ourselves in the foot when we tried to sign him last summer. I'd rather Raul and Edu didn't get a second shot.

Ramsey I'd swap him for any day though, but I don't see how the club will have come around on his wage demands if they pulled their contract offer last season.

I agree with Klaus here. They will offer some busted defender like Rugani or De Sciglio in return.

However I would not bat an eye to swap him for Ramsey or Bentancur.

Actually just realised Douglas Costa and Bernadeschi is out of favour under Sarri. Either one of them is interesting especially the latter

Dybala is back in form, and linking well with Ronaldo, so he's not going anywhere.

Bernadeschi seems to favor the right where we already have Pepe.

Costa is ace, far rather him than Willian.

Swap Laca for Partey makes most sense.

Signing Ramsey for Laca would set the club back a few years. The one asset we have to raise decent funds being wasted on a 29 yr old we could have had for free but chose not to.

He doesn't really have a position he's top drawer in. He's not as good as xhaka in the deeper role and he doesn't get the numbers in either goals or assists to play 10(averages 4 leage goals a season in a free role with his average heatmap position often ahead of giroud). And when we played him in the middle with arteta and Ozil we conceded 6 goals a game against the big sides. That was a most damaging position of all to put him in for the team.

So he's clearly not worth his wages.

Juves interest just lets us push A. Madrid harder.

Top midfield on paper. Ramsey has had injury issues even this season. I wouldn't take the guy back. One of Arsenal's biggest issues in recent years has been depending on too many injured players. We are going into next season with 3 injured central defenders. We want to add an injury-prone central midfielder into the mix? That's bad squad management.

Based on our actual needs, the one Juve player I would want is one they would never release: Demiral. Dybala is interesting, but I think would be a tactical headache for the gaffer. Useful veterans like Matuidi and Cuadrado are too old now

** And please take the name Rugani out of your mouth. The more you say it, the more likely he is to appear at the Emirates. Mustafi will leave for Hertha Berlin on Sept 1st and Sept 2nd we'll announce Rugani 😆

I was one of Ramseys biggest fans throughout his time at Arsenal. Even when more reactionary posters were calling him Dudsey I still believed in him but its over now, he left and he shouldn't be brought back. He's too old, too injury prone and looking for too much money. We need to build for the future not go back to the past.

I actually don't see a good swap deal with Juve that would suit both clubs. The players I'd want from them are the ones they will be hanging on to.

I know. They've had shit luck with defenders this season. First Chiellini went down with an ACL at the start of the season. He's only played a couple of games just before Covid-19 struck. In his place, De Ligt is showing that he's still a kid far from the finished product.

And Demiral's out as well. But he should recover over the summer. But he's quality and I would still bet on him.

Can't even say it's shit luck, the day Demiral tore his ACL Zaniolo did his too a couple minutes before. Who would've thought letting four teams play on the same acre on consecutive days would lead to the pitch becoming a minefield
