Agree with your first paragraph. We delayed our giroud replacement for years, and still ended up buying the wrong guy. These are the decisions that have damaged us so badly in the last 6-7 years. Waiting years to upgrade arteta and buying xhaka, waiting years to buy a centre half and buying mustafi, waiting years to upgrade giroud amd buying lacazette.

I’m laca’s biggest fan but he has ozilitis at the moment ie looks depressed.

Did his gf dump him or something? I saw him in the pre-match press conference with Arteta and his tonality and general body language was so negative and low I knew he would play shit in the actual game.

I was at the game on Thur and he wasn’t moving around at all. It got to a point where arteta was shouting at him on the touch line trying to give him some much needed energy.

Don’t think Laca will start on Monday or Sat tbh.

Eddie has an almost once in a life time chance of securing his spot as an Arsenal first team striker, he really needs to go for it as I can’t see Laca coming back in the team for a while.

Yeah but it's a decent sample size across all competitions. EL and Cup games should be helping his stats too but the pattern is obvious.

Small sample size will be something like this but the pattern is still the same. We cannot afford to carry useless players in our team. Not even one as things stand because most of the others are not good enough either

What’s the big deal with laughing gas? If you binge on it for ten minutes or stick your head in a plastic bag to consume it you could die, but that’s a bit like alcohol or most other substances, right? Not really fussed about this. More worrying is that he ain’t performing on the field

The lack of dedication in this squad is one of our biggest problems. That's why someone like Martinelli stands out so much.

It’s more that it just paints of picture of unprofessionalism. If he’s doing stuff like this then can you trust him to eat right? Or to go to bed early? Some of the top athletes have mental regimes outside the training pitch and it’s the sort of player you want in the squad rather than the ones who switch off from football when they’re not playing or training.
