Luis Enrique is a big no no to me. Very underwhelming and average coach.
Here are the only acceptable candidates for me in this order:
1) Allegri - Tactically too good, and has proven track record. Pragmatic but not dull football
2) Conte - If available we must at least consider him, similar to the pros of Allegri
3) Jardim - Attractive football, blood young players, good big game record
4) Simeone - Can't look past him surely, very pragmatic football but a born winner
5) Sarri - Best brand of football in europe, but question marks over his ability to win trophies yet.
6) Marcelinho - Impressive with Villarreal and Valencia
The rest are all gambles, and if we are taking big gambles for big strides, then these are the only acceptable ones
1) Nagelsmann
2) Di Francesco - Bring over Allison and Manolas as well
3) Fonseca - Very very impressive work with Shakhtar
4) Rui Vitoria - Done very well with a young Benfica team, almost made the semis of UCL 2 years ago
5) Sergio Conceicao - another attacking coach, fantastic with Nantes last year and doing very well with Porto currently
6) Quique Setien - The Anti Simeone, 2nd most attractive football behind Sarri but his teams might be far too open. Leading Betis to their best ever finish in decades
7) Marco Silva - shouldn't forget the impressive work he has done with Hull and Watford
Tuchel is really a good fit but has signed for PSG. Not sure about Tedesco, haven't watched Schalke enough maybe Jones have a better idea. Ex players like Henry, Arteta, Vieira all has little experience of a big club and I wouldn't want another dinosaur coaching us. Main priority must be relatively young and plays progressive football
