Going by reports it sounds like we can rule out Ancelotti, Simeone, all the Italian blokes, Tuchel while Vieira says he's had no approach. You'd also assume the board are not stupid enough for appoint Rodgers and prompt more protests.

That would narrow it down to Jardim, Enrique, Arteta or an outlier like Rangnik.

I thought Allegri was still a viable possibility? Doubt it would be Arteta or Vieira or Henry or anyone of that ilk. Enrique sounds odds-on with Allegri at #2. I don't know what to make of Enrique - on the one hand, he clearly messed up at Roma trying to convert them into Barca-lite with Totti as a false #9 but feels like he learnt his lesson at Barca and played the style that worked best with the squad he had. That kind of pragmatism would serve well here, but his overall track record is clearly suspect.

For those who followed Roma / Celta under him, is Enrique a developmental manager - someone who can develop young players? I think it's important for an Arsenal manager because we will need to see an influx of young talent (someone who can groom Chambers in defense, AMN in MF, some youngster on the wing potentially) given our comparatively limited budget - we can't do a Y***ted.

The other vaguely credible ITK person on twitter, Moley person, also reckons that Allegri is the chosen one.

The theory goes that we've been interested in him since last season, and that Wenger was told to announce he was leaving before the end of the season so that the club could arrange his transfer (which would not be necessary for the likes of Luis Enrique, who are out of a job anyway and do not need advanced notice).
