I call bullshit on that reasoning. What has ever been achieved by silently tolerating racism and discrimination? It smacks of a man who, while disapproving of the issue, doesn't feel like it should get in the way of his own world cup ambitions.
He shouldn't be the one to be making that call for the players. He certainly shouldn't be putting pressure on them to stay on the pitch.
