This will definitely happen. Gazidis and mangod Sven taking this club by the scruff of the neck
Aubameyang
We have Welbeck as plan B. He can surprise the opposition and has a history of incredible assists.
PEA can play on the floor or in the air. Can change to plan B without subbing the striker.I
Yep perfect striker for us
Honestly between having this guy or Sanchez, I'd take Aubameyang.
Not much of a link man though, which is one area in which Giroud is massively better than him and probably Lacazette too.

That’s pretty tasty
that is gold
jesus.
can sven hire a new quality control officer for the club?
Dortmund want €70 million apparently, we only want to pay €50 million.
Maybe it's just a byproduct of having seen how Arsenal have handled the last 30 transfer windows, but I have a feeling that this will run down to the final hour on January 31st, and when we won't be able to lowball them we'll just forget about it altogether.
Main source of confidence is that Gazidis and his party posse are in Dortmund to negotiate face to face, but who knows what they'll do. This is not a club that has ever paid a cent more than they thought a player was worth.
Yeah, share the sentiments. Don't think we will get him.
everyone thinks PEA was in the studio getting ready to record his own welcome video. i think this is still 70/30 it happens. i think wenger has lost most of his power at the club and hes been the one to kill so many of our potential deals

Wilshere RM? Swap Jack and Ramsey.
Nope
Talkshite reporting this is as good as done, just formalities to sort out.
Arsene Wenger confirms Arsenal are in talks with Borussia Dortmund over deal to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. #SSN

It will be some effort from us if we fuck this up, what with the bloke virtually being on strike
Just pay the money for once
By then some other club will swoop in too.
Not a single one of us is confident. That's what this club has done to its fans over the past 50 windows!
I really think giroud moving if a mistake, he a great CF to bring on and has won us serious points. Not keen on him as a starter but he is far bettered then other options out there.
Talk the last few months was Giroud wanted out anyway, no point forcing him to stay if he can help get this deal over the line.
I love Giroud but I'll gladly swap a 31 year old Giroud for a 28 year old Aubameyang. I'm hanging all my future hopes on this transfer.
Auba putting lots of boxes in his ride on leaving training today - he’s ours
Those boxes look like they were deliveries from one of those online shops, possibly from Amazon.

Shame they won't buy giroud at his age a loan is just giving him away for free. Everton were happy to pay £20m in the summer. Seems like more money wasted.
Giroud was a great servant to the club, don't mind if we don't get much for him we got a lot out of him and nobody could've known he'd be injured. There's enough money available just need to pry it out of Kroenke's claws
Sell his 500k sq mile ranch if needed
He still has a year and half left in his contract doesn't he? If anything.. If he goes on loan and scores some goals we will be ble to sell him for more than if he stays here and gets only a few games. I'm all for it
Didnt Giroud decide to stay at Arsenal in the summer because he loves being here? Regardless if he's first choice?
He probably expected to play more though. He's been told by Deschamps that he needs more games if he's gonna make the World Cup squad too, so a loan move in January would be ideal for him. He can always come back next season if he doesn't mind the bench.

I feel pretty confident...
I’m in Captain’s boat
Yep, strongly fancy this to happen.

I still think he'll be in the squad regardless of moving... just IMO
Maybe, but that's what he was told. In any event he's gonna be a far cry from starting, and I think that's a big thing for him. This is probably gonna be his last tournament for France. I bet he wants to play and not just make up the numbers.
Just saw snippet of the Weng's press conference, the only subject on which he was categorical: he wants Welbeck to stay.
For the rest he was suitably evasive and non committal.
Bild apparently saying our 60m bid is rejected and they still want 70m, and we may not stump it up.
He wanted Alexis to stay!
