Disagree with Phil Neville when he says we need both Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan. Aubameyang and a proven penetrative is what you need.
Or, you drop these names, double down on Lazacette and bring in two of Fekir, Mahrez, Malcom and Lemar to help us with our movement and penetration. Two of those guys generate goals on their own as well. So that is not a bad option.

😆 what a savage. We need to sign him and ditch Mishitariyan.

Dortmund have confirmed we’ve made a bid today, reports suggest it’s approx 50m Eur

Any chance we can go throw Welbeck into the deal.

This guy sounds like trouble. Too much indiscipline off the field. Can't imagine him at arsenal.

Worst would be a precedent being set of bad behavior.  Lowered bar.
I've pictured scenarios of him causing wengers departure and all abd thought the same. ..what's the worst that can happen.

Well, quite. We could slip slightly further into mediocrity...

He’s got a lot of upside and maybe it works out.

Reminds of our favourite meme...

I mean...we are trying to sign players...but it's the same vibe. Overriding incompetence and inaction.

That he'll leave on a free when he's 32 years old and his pace is gone. Fine by me.

Some ESPN guy said that Aubameyang has only missed three matches to injuries (the same as for diciplinary reasons) during his Dortmund career. Incredible if true.

Probably a swap with Giroud

Good news on the Aubamayang signing but more importantlg it's interesting that the club is feeding Ornstein that there will be no significant funds for further signings? This even though we may be giving BvB Giroud to reduce the cost of thr transfer fee and wages.

Where does all the money we make from sales, gates, commercial revenue and tv money go? If we have a certain amount of money each season to buy players where did the funds from last summer go considering we only bought Laca and made enough sales to cover his purchase and wages?

We effectively lost 60 million this season because we're not in Champions League. I don't think the importance of that tournament, as far as signings are concerned, can be overstated.

They briefed that there was no money in the summer too and then we offered £100m for Lemar. Just ignore it - if they want to spend, they will.

The attraction of the CL to potential players of course can not be overstated true. That was not my point though.

We may have lost possibly £60m to the CL due to non qualification. That said the PL TV money that started coming in last year more than dwarfs any potential CL money.

It's why some of the likes of Everton and Bournmouth are able to buy players for 45m and 25m respectively.
