True Claude, but my comment was more about the reasons for AMN's sudden absence. There were many people who were convinced that he had been axed because he had expressed wishes to play in midfield, and even if he had I don't think it would have made sense to drop him. We used to have Ljungberg and Pires who, as soon as they opened their mouths, kept expressing frustration over not being played in the middle; they weren't wingers but playmakers they would insist, and in the background Lauren - who didn't even get to play in midfield anymore - would lurk and cast envious looks. There is no contradiction between identifying with a certain position and ending up playing somewhere else, which I'm sure Auba and Saka would echo.
Not taking training seriously on the other hand when you have a job that earns you more in a couple of months than most people make in decades, and the entirety of that job is to show up on time for two hours every morning and do what you're told, is inexcusable. AMN seems like the kind of lad who's able to handle a reprimand, take on board criticism and do better, and I'm sure that's what transpired here rather than him refusing to play where Arteta told him to, which plenty of fans seemed to treat as a foregone conclusion when he suddenly got dropped.
