The Barca front four today were stellar: Messi, Suarez, Iniesta, Coutinho.
Dembele is not getting chances because he’s sitting behind 4 of the best forwards and AMs in world football. This isn’t Arsenal where Iwobi walks on whenever he wants. Fortunately for him, Iniesta is leaving, and 2 of the other guys are over 30. His best bet is stay put.
I didn't mean that he should necessarily start. When you're 4-0 up you don't need to wait until the 80th minute. Like you said, this isn't Arsenal. This is a team that actually get leads big enough to feel confident in winning before the match is over. Most Barcelona fans absolutely think Dembele isn't getting enough playing time. They were raging when Valverde cowardly decided to play Roberto on the wing against Roma, playing straight into the trap that many teams do when in the lead.

You can mock Iwobi, but Dembele's single goal this season isn't exactly the output you expect from a £100 million signing. He's just a raw player at the moment. He was raw at Dortmund too and was barely good enough for them when he left. No one has time to actually let players develop anymore before they sweep down and grab them. It has disrupted the development of a few supreme talents already.
You're right about one thing. If 8 goals and 18 assists was only barely good enough for a 19 year old in his debut season, then we can really mock Iwobi. Using his output this season against him is just silly in my opinion, especially when you're ignoring his five assists so it sounds even less.
