He was raw at Dortmund too and was barely good enough for them when he left
I mean this quote couple posts above, maybe I misunderstood him though. Either way I think Barcelona made the right call signing him, he's tremendously talented - how many players can you think of who're as fast as Theo in his prime and as two-footed as Cazorla? He's also one of the very few players who clearly have finishing ability but are more comfortable assisting others, that type of mentality sure as shit doesn't grow on trees
I watched the kid on Wednesday and he seemed fine. One of the best on the field. Played with real fire. He scored a stunner in that game. Sonfor him to sit out yesterday should not be that big a deal. He’s getting minutes after a season stalled by injury.
I think those worried he won’t make it are too pessimistic

It has disrupted the development of a few supreme talents already.

Barely good enough for Dortmund? After one of the best debut seasons ever in Bundesliga? Weird line of thought there.
He's been good for Barcelona, albeit in a very injury disrupted season. To write him off like this is so weird

Yes I did.
Who are the 19-21 year olds in world football who are much better than him right now and should be at Barca instead? Once I’m past Mbappe, and maybe someone like Sané. Who are you thinking as much more developed and exciting?
Claude, my whole point was basically that 19-20 year old kids shouldn't sign for the Barcelonas and Real Madrids in this world.
Even Sane didn't look good before getting regular playtime. I think the price of Coutinho is much worse than that of Dembele.

Ah. That’s clearer. They should hang around Monaco and Dortmund a little longer. Okay
I'd written dembele off, thought he'd be a big flop but he's shown flashes - very brief ones- of maturity. Plus the talent. It'll be interesting to watch what happens with him.
In the flesh...
Barca still undefeated in the league, and left to face:
Deportivo away Real Madrid home Villareal home Levante away Real Sociedad home
Have to admit they've got a good chance to win all of those.
Real Madrid will be a big game. This will be full of bad fouls. I'm sure they'll be in a Manchester United 49th game kind of mood.
congrats barca ,7 in last 10. Get as many as they can till messi is around.
Messi back on top of the golden boot race again. While playing basically as a midfielder
After seeing Wenger get the golden Invincible trophy I'm absolutely desperate to see Barcelona lose today.
Doesn't look very likely right now. Barcelona all over Madrid.
Two great goals already. First for Barcelona; Suarez after a great flowing move and then the equaliser from, who else, Ronaldo; after a superb counter attack.
Ronaldo might be injured as a result though....
Barcelona look like they wanna go catch a nap
Yep. Madrid should be a couple ahead by now.
Madrid look okay now. They seemed a bit lost at first. But They are the better team going forward and able to just move forward through Busquets and Rakitic as if they don’t exist.
They have also rarely loooked this organized this season when Barca have the ball. Hopefully, they look this way against Salah and 10 men.
