They haven't been blowing teams away in the league, but they look fairly solid at the back these days. Plus with Messi and co. they're good at least two goals a game.

Sevilla, Valencia and Madrid coming up, so there are some hurdles left.

They do have Messi though, so whether or not they deserve it should surely be based in how they are with him.

Yea, messi deserves the unbeaten thing. Hurts a lot to say it. And yea, you can't exclude him to make that point.
I don't mind if they lose a game. I don't mind if they go unbeaten. A messi team is good company for the invincibles.

Not done, but it became clear that he can't do many of the things he did before. As good a player as Ronaldo adapted to the limitations that come with age, but even though he's scoring at the same rate he's not close to the same player.
