Funny thing is that he's twice as good today compared to the first leg, and he's still awful, just awful.

I don't know if he plays like this because he's desperate to be sold, but I have deep reservations about any player who puts in two performances like this in the most important games that Nice will play all season.

I am sure a lot of clubs have scouted him extensively and there must be a reason he is still at Nice.

Seems like Barcelona pulled the plug on this one. Some say it's because of the matches against Napoli. Mundo Deportivo saying he had rejected offers from Roma, PSG and Arsenal in order to go to Barcelona.

What kind of scouting system does that Barca have that rejects a player on the basis of a couple of matches though? Every player has shitty games.

Well it's the same scouting team that signed off on signing Paulinho, their competence is quite clearly in question.

To be fair he's been one of the top 10 players in the chinese league, probably only Wu Lei and Kim Young-Gwon better than him. He regularly dominates chinese midfielders

Supposedly PSG have shown interest in Seri, with the sole purpose to drive up the price for Barca. Who have in turn have gone back to Dortmund & Liverpool who seem to increase their price every time they ask

Seri was fantastic yesterday as Nice destroyed Monaco 4-0.
Monaco had been unbeaten in 16 league games since last spring when they were beaten by Nice (also by 4-0).

Maybe all the transfer speculation did play with his head during the CL qualifiers.
