Don't agree with that, their main weaknesses were CB, CM and CF last season and they haven't addressed a single one of those or if you go by transfer rumours are close to sorting those positions out. Then factor in the extra games and all their injuries from players burning out I don't think Liverpool look in that good shape at all going into this season. I'd wager we won't implode like we did last season either and that is the only reason they finished ahead of us, even then they were shitting themselves going into the final few games.
Also their record against the top sides was good but against teams which sit back they struggled consistently to break them down. Against the top sides they can play on the counter but not against the weaker ones. They haven't really improved in that regard at all.

I'd agree with that, most of our games we are up against teams who sit back so having another counter attacking player doesn't really help.
