If Monaco are super-pragmatic, wouldn't it make sense for them to sell every highly chased player they have this summer? Right now valuation of their players is incredibly inflated after a very successful season when everything clicked for them and multiple players were in top form. Even if they kept all the players, it would still be very likely for them to have a much worse season next year (let's say both Falcao and Mbappe lose their form, they don't score enough goals, plenty of dull draws, etc. etc.). Now, after selling a couple of key players it is even more likely that they will struggle next season. Consequently all their stars might not look that hot anymore and their value would decrease.
