Which one? The wartime deaths checks out, gun deaths would only have to be just over 30k a year on average to be correct, there were 33k last year.

Bear in mind it's all gun related deaths, so will include stuff like suicide, which I understand makes up the majority of that figure.

Worth mentioning that the US has a significantly larger population so numbers will always scale up.

Despite that, you're still 10 times more likely to be shot in the US than in the UK on a per capita basis.

I see where Big Will is coming from as i would consider an individual shooting innocent bystanders an act of terror even if he/she doesn't have a political or ideological motive.
If they happen to have one, simply prefix it accordingly.

Even if this incident doesn't fall under the definition of terrorism (and I don't think it does based on current evidence), there's been a clear trend historically of double standards. They never classified the Charleston shooting as terrorism either and that had clear political/ideological motivations.

Did the Nazi protester who ran over the girl a month or two back get classified as a terrorist?

I'd also wager that if this guy happened to have been a Muslim we wouldn't see such caution in labeling it a terrorist attack. It would have happened after 5 mins.
