Kylian Mbappe
Blimey
No, that's how it begins! If he follows our guys in one day, it means he's coming!!!
Christ almighty.
He'll end up signing for Man United

Didn't someone say recently that they wouldn't join ManU because they didn't like their style of play?
Thought it was Mbappe?
Yes it was him indeed.

I'd add another 10k to his weekly wages / salary for that comment alone - the lad is showing some banter.
If we sign Mbappe I'm never saying another bad word about Wenger, because a major reason this kid would even consider joining us is Wenger.

I'm not quite so forgiving as IMO AW has only now started to use Sanchez & Ozill in both positions and style that better suits them after 3-4 seasons.
I'll have 2nd thoughts IF/WHEN AW really leaves no stone unturned in terms of both transfers in both quality and balance, and then a shape & system that both suits the top players and is able to be sustained.
As we've said before he could sign both Messi & Ronaldo and still not win the PL or CL,
so Mbappe is not going to change that on his own.
He's far from being an Arsenal player though. We all know how we 'could have' signed almost every great player in the last 15 years. Let's not sing Wenger's praises too early.
My question is still why he'd want to take a step back into the Europa League at this stage of his career.
I don't think for a second we are signing him. If we DID sign him though...

But maybe he'd like their style of pay!

Lol - nice,
However he's also said that moving to a big club for big money is not as important at this stage of his career, as playing time to continue to develop.
You'd need to be extremely stupid to be the most highly rated young player in the world and sign for Mourinho.

Lol - agreed = see what he did to last year's model in Martial.
Remember his comment about that this season when he ran off the stats that showed he had played more youngsters that season than any one,
and then the other side of the coin was that whilst he had used more players they played less in both minutes and games compared to most other clubs. Playing half a dozen youngsters doesn't count if they only play in the 1 game.

i'm sure he refers to the curious case of Anthony Martial as a warning of what might happen to a highly rated Monacoain who plays for Mourinho

It's Monégasque :hat:
Mbappé seems very reasonable in his interviews, his next season will probably be closer to Dembélé's than Martial's. Except for their youth club there's little to compare between the two, Mbappé's 2016/17 season has already been better than anything Martial will probably ever manage for United
It's Monegasque if you're a native, and Monacoain if you are merely a resident. Wasn't sure if both men were Monegasque as that population are a minority in Monaco, so went for the broader Monacoain descriptor.
You learn something new every day.
Mbappé was born in Paris, Martial was born just outside Paris in a place called Massy.
