Again that's only if we apply 'normal' expectations in terms of football outcomes on the pitch, whereas AW & Co are all about sustainability and minimum expenditure as being value for money. If anything they'd be more disappointed about the failure to progress last season after the amount of money spent, and I wonder if AW spun them the line about needing time to adapt and that he needs to remain so as to be able to ensure they have the stability to perform etc.

Those 6 will be Reals attacking players going into next season. Hand on heart I can't see him opting for Arsenal and likewise I can't see Arsene agreeing to part with over £100m in a single transfers. Especially considering Ox, Ramsey, Alexis and Ozil will be asking for more money as they all try to get new deals. It all seems very far fetched and just all in all, very unArsenal.
