Article also says he wants to sign for Madrid or Barca by 22 years, so that gives him a window of 3 years. PSG is interested, but he's thinking England and Wenger would be a big factor for what he has done with Anelka and Henry.
Went to see the article linked on that tweet: "Si demain Kylian signe à Arsenal, ce sera pour lui". Being French, I would translate "demain" in that sentence into "one day" rather than "tomorrow"... so: If Kylian signs for Arsenal one day...
and one day, Wenger won't be the manager of AFC !!

We're the perfect stepping stone. Worst case scenario we sell him for 200m in 3 years.
ill take those 3-4 years and sell him for a profit
I'm starting to think this will happen

Small club mentality.
Those 3 or 4 years would be great to watch and who the hell knows what can happen in that time?
If the kid comes here he won't ever have experienced the love and adoration he will get from the Arsenal fans. It will blow his mind. Even more so after only ever really knowing Monaco - a club with no fans.
Come here experience Wenger and the Prem for a few years - Real Madrid can wait

It's reality. A club in our position doesn't sign arguably the biggest talent in world football without there being a few caveats. Get him in the door, worry about the rest later.
Alternatively we could sign players who lack the latent to have that kind of ambition and players that no one else will want to buy off us in any case, but I don't think that makes us a big club.
We shouldn't think of ourselves as a "stepping stone" club. We're Arsenal ffs, some of you seem to have forgotten how massive this club is. Don't let the shambles that Wenger has turned us into lately fool you into thinking we're some tinpot outfit who exist to develop talent for bigger clubs.
Mbappé should be fucking proud to join us.
We are the 10-12th best team in Europe. Get real. We are a stepping stone. In the event this kid decided to come here, we should be ecstatic. He's the hottest property in football. Maybe we get 2 or 3 other players and become a top 5 club, but we will almost certainly not be a top 3 club in next decade.
If you can get him in the door do it by any means necessary. Once he's here you can start proving you're not a small club. One club men are a thing of the past though, players move. Take what you can from them while you have them.

Get real, this isn't 2004.
Four year contract, with an option / buyout clause for non-English teams in year three.
We need a win now mentality to ensure we maximize our run with Ozil/Sanchez, and I don't care if that ends up being small time or setting us back in the future. What would be more damaging is to lose Ozil/Sanchez and not have a chance at the league in the next few years.

who knows what state real and barca will be in a post messi/ronaldo world. maybe theyre under a transfer ban at the time. maybe he gets so good the price will be too steep even for them. if we actually get him in the door there's no locked i guarantee he's off in 3 years
These things are too risky. What if he ends up having glass ankles like Wilsh
100 million down the drain.
And you just know Wenger will say his I told you so's
If he's a crock then he's a crock. You can't eliminate the possibility that Sanchez will break his leg two months from now either, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't offer him record wages.
£100 million gets you a Xhaka, a Mustafi and a Lucas in today's market with some pocket change to spare. I'd rather gamble it on Mbappe than end up with two flops and a striker we don't intend to use.
Haha, Xhaka and Mustafi aren't flops boss. They've had okay debut seasons.
Market nowadays is crazy that's for sure.
If I were Daz, I'd hold off selling my Bolton tix till we get Mbappe.
Then I'd sell for significant pre-tax profits!
We had Mustafi out for chunks and didn't miss him. We need more can't miss players. Right now Sanchez is the only one. I think the Mbappe thing is a pipe dream, but we need to chase some actual footballers. I'm tired of setting aside 2 hours of my weekend to watch Walcott and/or Welbeck
