I think you misunderstood - Leicester sold Drinkwater to Chelsea and then they signed Krychowiak.

People seem to think Leicester made a genius move. I've never been convinced by Krychowiak personally, but I do think Drinkwater's gonna be very useful for Conte. He's an underrated player.

Getting Drinkwaters a brilliant move, even if the price is a bit mad. He and Kante were amazing together. He's the perfect player to slot in when needed at Chelsea. Very underrated passer.

Liverpool agree a deal for Keita, he will join them next season. Over £48m is the price being mentioned. I’m assuming they know he will be in demand big time next season so wrapping this one up now is a good idea. They’ve paid a premium over his release clause to get this done

If they manage to get Lemar + Keita for the money they are getting for Coutinho then they've played an absolute blinder here.

Getting Keita is huge. Guy is a Kante who can pass better and assist better.

They also know that they have no chance to get him next season, so they've paid the premium and tied the deal up. Could you imagine that ever being done here? We'd probably offer below the fucking release clause!

Liverpool in recent years have done some shit business but this is one is very smart.
