It could actually be good news for Chelsea, he's starting to look like he'd cost too much to make any sense for Madrid, etc He's clearly a level or two above where Dembele is now.

Still talks of Coutinho to Barcelona, even with Dembele's move. Interesting, wouldn't think they have the room for both but I suppose you can't count on both coming good right away.

Dembele is not a sure thing but probably as close as you can get to it. Hazard was an exceptional talent at a young age already but didn't reach Dembele's output until much later. €130m for the latter is almost certainly a better deal than the 200m+ you'd probably have to pay for Hazard

Dembeles output? Hazard scored 20 goals in his last season in France, he was around Dembeles age then. Way more proven then than Dembele is now. That doesn't mean Dembele wont be better, maybe he will but he's nowhere close to the sure thing you say. If he ends up better than Hazard Barca will be very happy.

Hazard in his last season at Lille was 22 with about five top flight seasons behind him (half those 20 league goals were pens anyway).
Dembele at 18 got 12 league goals for Rennes in his first ever season and after moving at 19 to a stronger league got 10 goals and 21 assists over all competitions, leagues ahead of what Hazard produced when under 20. I struggle to think of anyone who had that kind of output at such a young age, he also has insane pace and is as two footed as they come. There's nothing like a sure thing in football but he's as close as you can get to it

It's easy to say "around his age". Dembele turned 19 in May the season he scored 12 goals in Ligue 1. Hazard turned 19 in January during the 09/10-season, scoring five goals. He scored 20 goals two seasons later.

People who think not being the richest team in the league is an excuse need to look at teams in other leagues who aren't the richest or most powerful. Dortmund, Athletico, Monaco, etc even Liverpool nowadays. You can lose big players as long as you replace them. Arsenal fans are terrified of even losing shitsters like Ox because they trust Wenger and co to replace them.
